Jerry Herring
JERRY P. HERRING
Principal Mechanical Engineer
Jerry Herring has served as the principal mechanical engineer at Central Alaska Engineering Company, LLC since 1991.  Prior to that, Jerry was employed with ARCO Alaska where he gained valuable Arctic construction, petroleum production and processing experience while completing a variety of projects supporting North Slope oil production, gas and water handling.  As Project Mechanical Engineer, projects worth several million dollars were managed to upgrade capacity of the facilities and to address safety deficiencies.

 

As a Construction Engineer, field construction supervision and contract administration duties were completed on several multi-million dollar upgrade projects at Prudhoe Bay to increase production and defer decline.

Jerry graduated from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering in 1983.

Jerry is a Board Member of the Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Fairbanks.

MERRICK F. JACKINSKY
Mechanical Engineer in Training
Merrick has been with Central Alaska Engineering Company, LLC since 2011 and is working towards attaining his Professional Engineer certification. Merrick graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Arizona Campus and holds B.S. degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. He brings to the team an in-depth understanding of engineering, quality teamwork, and a fresh look on the challenges approached by CAEC.
